We’re Will & Jack: two foodies with a serious wine habit and an even more serious travel habit. If you’ve found your way here, chances are you love the idea of exploring the world one plate — and one pour — at a time. That’s exactly what we do.

For us, travel has never really been about checking landmarks off a list — though we hit plenty of them. It’s the smell of fresh bread from a market stall, the first sip of a wine we can’t pronounce, the laughter shared with strangers who become friends over a long meal. Food and wine aren’t just things you consume on a trip — they’re the whole reason to go.

How We Travel

Most of our journeys happen by sea. There’s something we love about waking up in a new port every few days, coffee in hand, watching the world change outside the window. The sea gets us from place to place — it’s the land that gets under our skin.

Every stop is a chance to go ashore and dig in, literally and figuratively. We seek out the family-run trattoria down a side street, the vineyard that’s been in the same hands for four generations, the tiny stall where the owner insists you try one more bite. We talk to locals, ask too many questions, and almost always say yes to “you have to try this.”

Why We Write This

Partly for ourselves — a way to hold onto the meals, the wines, the people, the moments that blur together after enough trips. And partly for you. If we can help you find your own perfect glass in a port you’ve never been to, or talk you into trying the weird-looking local specialty instead of playing it safe, we’ve done our job.
