After Our Splurge: 1890 by Gordon Ramsay, we took a car service from London to Southampton to board the Enchanted Princess for a transatlantic cruise back to New York City. First up: sailing the North Sea to Bergen, Norway.

Bright sunshine greeted us as we sailed into port.

A Walk Through the City Center and Market

We walked through the city center and the market in this beautiful coastal town.

Cocktails at the Ice Bar

We had tickets for the Ice Bar for cocktails. Five below freezing in Celsius inside! After donning our ponchos and gloves, we entered the bar — very cool, no pun intended. It’s a small space, but everything in it is made of ice, including the glasses. Intricate ice sculptures are everywhere, with multicolored lighting adding to the details.

Two drinks come with your ticket. We started with their welcome ice wine (very cranberry-esque), then had our pick for a second. We chose a vodka curaçao drink called the Iceberg.

It was a fun experience.
