After Geiranger, our next port brought us to Olden, a small fjord village with dramatic landscapes all around, sitting at the end of the Nordfjord and Oldedalen valley.

The Last of the Nordic Hikes

Today was the last of our Nordic hikes: Briksdal Glacier, an arm of the massive Jostedalsbreen Glacier, the largest in mainland Europe. The very long hike winds past many waterfalls and lush, natural wooded areas. For those who wish, troll cars are available for a ride to the viewing point rather than the hike.

Sailing Back Through the Nordfjord

Bright sunshine greeted us as we sailed back through the Nordfjord, with terrific scenery the whole way.
