A Stormy Cadiz

Our first port of call in Spain was a wet one.  We were greeted with thunderstorms and lightening upon arrival.  This gave way to intermittent rain and big gusty winds. That did not stop us from exploring this lovely small Spanish city…well until we cut it short when the sky opened and the winds kicked up.  Got back to the ship head to toe wet. Despite the umbrellas.

All around the city are beautiful streets, squares, and statues.

As always, if there is a Cathedral I have to go.  Something about the history attached to religion and the majesty get me every time.  This one was very different and stunning in it’s own way.

Then a stop at the market.

Then along the sea line through monuments and parks.
