After Galleria Doria Pamphilj and an evening of Roman favorites, we spent our second and final day in Rome making the most of a beautiful fall day.

The Pantheon

We started the day by touring the Pantheon, something we’d never done before.

Crossing the Tiber to Trastevere

Since it was such a beautiful fall day, we walked through the streets, making our way across the Tiber to Trastevere, where we love to wander. We stopped in at the Basilica di San Bartolomeo all’Isola Tiberina, located on Tiber Island between the Jewish Quarter and Trastevere.

Lunch at Tonnarello

Lunch was at Tonnarello in Trastevere, complete with bruschetta tastings, fried calamari, and a fresh tomato pasta. Love the food in Rome.

A Farewell Dinner at Chianti

For dinner we stayed near our hotel and had a refreshing Aperol Spritz dining al fresco at Chianti, with a swiss chard bruschetta, eggplant parmesan, and agnolotti.

Rome, we will return again and again.
