We participated in a small group food tour with Delicious Bologna.  We hit all the major dishes and traditions of Bologna starting with a propr espresso and cornett.

Next up was watching the traditional tortellini making.  Stunning craftsmanship by these ladies.

Then into the street markets for a view of life and some local salumi and dry lambrusco.

Next up was the traditional pasta tastings.  Up first the tortellini in brodo then the tagliatelle with rage bolognese and the green lasagna bolognese.

…now a litte walk before gelato!

After such a great food tour during the morning and early afternoon we could only enjoy an appertivo on the rooftop patio of our hotel then a “snack” for dinner.
