After Istanbul, our last full day of the cruise portion of this trip was spent on Mykonos.

A Small Rock in the Aegean

This small rock of an island, covered in the iconic whitewashed buildings of the Aegean Sea, was as magical as anticipated.

The Seabus to Mykonos Town

We disembarked and took the Seabus over to Mykonos Town. Located right off the ship, it’s a water taxi that runs every 30 minutes — a nice little 12-minute ride along the coast, and a popular means of transport. You may see a big line, so buy your tickets before you queue, and don’t let the line spook you. You’ll be surprised how many people fit on their boats.

Getting Lost in the Whitewashed Streets

Once in Mykonos Town, we explored the warren of streets and got a little lost, since everything starts to blend together — it’s all white! After exploring and some shopping, we took the Seabus back to the ship.

An Evening Sail Away

Since we had a late departure from port, we were treated to a lovely evening sail away with iconic views.
