Situated on the Orkney Islands, we toured the Neolithic sites on the Island starting with the Standing Stones of Stenness following a brief drive.

Then onto the Ring of Brodgar…older than Stonehenge.

And next to it are these sweet cows.

Last of the sites was Skara Brae.  Stone underground houses on the coast and the manor house on the property whose owner discovered the site.

Then a stroll through Kirkwall and Saint Magnus Cathedral.
