So we begin yet another adventure.  We arrived in Amsterdam midday today following as uneventful flight and a quick train ride from the airport to the city center arriving at the stunning Amsterdam Centraal.

After checking into the INK Hotel, we wondered through the city center including damrak. 

With a stop at the beautiful Bascilica of St. Nicholas. 

Strolling along the canals.

We spent time at the small Our Lord In The Attic Museum: a historic hidden catholic church in a narrow house in the attic when such worship was not publicly allowed.  Very interesting piece of history in Amsterdam.

All that strolling deserves an Oyster Happy Hour at The Seafood Bar.

Followed by a fantastic dinner at Lucius.  Local small beautiful bistro with warm friendly service.  Parmesean cream scallops, sea bass carpaccio and fish and chips.

A great start to this adventure.
