An Overview Tour, Arranged by a Fellow Passenger

We joined an overview tour of Gibraltar that a fellow passenger had arranged online — a 3.5-hour highlights tour. It was fine and interesting, but the stops were very short.

St. Michael’s Cave and the Siege Tunnels

Nonetheless, we were able to enjoy St. Michael’s Cave and the Siege Tunnels, both worthwhile stops even on a tight schedule.

Meeting the Barbary Apes

It was also fun to see and meet the Barbary apes — though hang onto your belongings tight, since they will steal anything on you.

Skipping the City Center

Many people went on to explore the city center afterward, but we didn’t — we were exhausted and headed straight back to the ship once the tour wrapped.
