After a lovely flight on Virgin Atlantic, we traveled to the west with three stops on our way to Bath.
First up were the Avebury stones. 6000 years old and just as odd and mysterious as Stonehenge. The sun started to appear as well. Perhaps it was the druids.

From there we stopped in the village of Lacock. An unspoiled village used as a filing location for many things such as some Harry Potter scenes.

Then our last stop at the village of Castle Comb…a lovely typical cotswold village.

…and on to Bath for the weekend!
