We made our way by train to the the quaint city of Delft. In many ways a smaller, calmer version of Amsterdam (also absent was the billowing marijuana clouds). We stayed at the very cool Hotel Arsenaal. Built out of the old arsenal on the canals. Super cool.

Now the center of Delft…

And a little lunch in the main square.

The molen de Roos windmill (which is still a working mill). We climbed up…not easy.

Back through town and a stop at Maria van Jessekerk church.

We walked over to the old original gate…Oostpoort.

And capped the day with a magnificent meal at Bij Harry.

A really nice day. If nearby to Delft, make the trip for a day, well worth it.
