After our first port of call in Cobh and Cork, it was on to Iceland. Reykjavík was our first port of call here, and the natural beauty greeted us before we’d even finished sailing into port.

Harpa Opera House

Once fully docked, we took a shuttle for a short trip to the Harpa Opera House, right on the water’s edge of the city. The city itself is very compact and highly walkable.

Hallgrímskirkja Church

We worked our way through the city center up to Hallgrímskirkja Church. The rainbow road leads right to the church, which was very interesting and welcoming.

Streets, Architecture, and Troll Gardens

We took our time exploring the streets and the architecture, which felt a bit Nordic in style, complete with troll gardens.

A Museum Stop

Our last stop before meeting up for our food tour was a visit to a special museum. We will just leave it there.
